Closing Process

On Your Way to
Homeownership

Your home is nearing completion and you’re ready to take ownership! The final step in the path to ownership is the closing process, in which you shift from buyer to owner.

    1

    Set The Closing Date

When you’re about two weeks away from closing, your Regent Homes representative will call you to schedule a date and time for the closing. Once you have this date, you can schedule your movers and the utilities services.

      2

      Gather Closing Funds

Your loan officer will give you a detailed list of the funds you will need to bring to the closing. All payments must be made in the form of a certified check, so you’ll need to plan ahead to obtain these checks from your financial institution.

        3

        Sign Closing Documents

Your lender, real estate attorney, and Regent Homes representative will join you at the closing. You will review each of the documents that comprise the paperwork for the purchase of your home, including the mortgage note and the deed of trust.

          4

          Take the Keys—It’s Yours!

When all the signatures have been added, you’re a homeowner! We will hand you the keys to your brand new home.

The planning and construction is over, but your Regent Homes team continues to be here for you. We protect you with a builder’s warranty, as well as our promise to ensure your satisfaction.
