Meet the Team

David McGowan
President/Owner

David McGowan, president/owner of Regent Homes, has been building new homes and developing communities since 1967. McGowan, whose father was a builder, received a BA degree with a major in political science and a minor in economics from the University of South Alabama. He is passionate about serving the community and serves on the boards of the Nashville Adventure Science Center, the Construction Management Program at Middle Tennessee State University and the Tennessee Housing and Development Agency, Greater Nashville Habitat for Humanity and was past president of the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee.

John Burns
Vice President/General Manager

John Burns, vice president and general manager, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton. John joined Regent Homes in
2005 equipped with project management experience from two large, national
home builders. In his current role, John is responsible for managing the
purchasing, estimating, and construction administration duties for all of
Regent's projects. John coaches youth soccer in Nashville, and has served
on the School Board and Finance Board for Holy Rosary Academy.

Michael Jacobs
Area Manager

Micheal Jacobs, a local Nashvillian, has over 35 years of both residential and commercial construction experience in the greater southeast region. He has been with Regent Homes since 2003. After serving five years in the United States Navy, Michael began his career in residential construction in the Nashville area. He moved to Texas and for 13 years worked for a commercial contractor on HUD and the Corp. of Engineer contracts as Project Management and Quality Control. He relocated back to Nashville and worked for three national home builders as a Project Manager before joining the Regent Homes team. He is responsible for the daily operation and construction of several community projects that Regent Homes is currently building

Peder Jensen
Area Manager

Peder Jensen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and Civil Engineering. He is a licensed General Contractor and a Real Estate Broker. Peder is a volunteer firefighter with the Maury County Fire Department and is very active in his church. In his free time, you will find him riding his horses with his family. He is responsible for the daily operations of numerous Regent Homes communities in Williamson and Maury CountyP as well as Huntsville, Alabama.

Craig Hudgens
Area Manager

Craig Hudgens, a native Tennessean, has been a part of the Regent Homes team for over 12 years. With his history in construction industry spanning over 20 years, Craig's knowledge has propelled him into his current position as Area Manager. Craig has built over 800 home during his career and continues to drive closings through his team of Project Managers. Craig currently oversees multiple Regent Homes communities in the Williamson and Davidson County areas including Nolensville where he resides. When not at work, you can find Craig at the Nolensville Ballpark cheering on his kids with his wife. He is an avid sportsman, with a deep passion for waterfowl and whitetail deer hunting.


John Barcroft
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

John Barcroft, is the vice president/chief financial officer for Regent Homes. John is a graduate of Lipscomb University with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual majors in accounting and management. John began his work with Regent Homes in June 2004. John is active in his church family and coaches in Nolensville youth soccer league. His construction experience began in 1999 with a construction accountant for a major outdoor resort company.

Derenda Sircy
Sales Manager

Derenda Sircy, has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years. Derenda's career started in estimating and cost analysis and she rose through the ranks to become a home builder, a sales representative and now the sales manager and principal broker for Regent Homes. Derenda supports and services as a board member for the Sales & Marketing Council for Middle Tennessee HBA, a committee member for the GNAR annual Habitat Build and active member of the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Donny Walker
Director of Quality Assurance

Donny Walker is the director of quality assurance and the warranty program for Regent Homes. Donny is a United States Army veteran who has over 14 years of experience in quality control and assurance in the home building industry. Donny has been with Regent since 2006.
