Whether you’re a local or a tourist in the hustling city of Nashville, there is something for everyone to enjoy during the Fourth of July holiday. We’re sharing some of our favorite events and prime firework-watching spots to enjoy this Independence Day!
Riverfront Park: If you enjoy having a front-row seat to the action, this is the place to watch fireworks! Not only does this park provide a front-row view of Nashville’s firework show, but there are also festivities that take place in the park during the day. Since this is such a prime location, expect viewing spots in the park to fill up quickly! If you’re planning on enjoying the view of the show from here, it’s advised to get there early in the day to enjoy food, drinks, friends, and family and to claim your space for the show.
Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge: This bridge offers another fantastic view of Nashville’s firework show above the Cumberland River! If you decide to enjoy the show atop the Pedestrian Bridge, be prepared to mingle with many other folks who are also enjoying the show from this view.
Let Freedom Sing!: If you’re looking for more than a fireworks show this holiday, consider the free live music show downtown! Let Freedom Sing is one of Tennessee’s most popular festivals on the Fourth of July! Viewers can enjoy several musical acts, including the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony and headliner Brad Paisley! Around dusk, the fireworks show can be watched from this spot! It’s worth checking out.
There’s never a shortage of activities to partake in Music City, especially on this holiday! Whether you’re searching for an all-day event or just a popular spot to watch the fireworks show, you will likely be able to find plenty of options.
